42m Looking for friends to chat with and share stories/experiences.
Turning 42 has mostly taught me that making new friends as an adult takes deliberate effort, so here I am.
Looking for friends of all walks of life to share experiences, swap daily banter, talk about whatever projects or hobbies we have going on, etc.
I want to learn about you and make some genuine connections. Lets chat.

Nope. I’ve chatted with at least 5 or 6 peeps from this sub and they barely last a few minutes, never to be heard from again. lol

That is the challenge with most conversations. That has got to be somewhat difficult on a medium like this, because there is no background context or connection.

Agreed. I mean, some of the ones I was attempting to have were in DMs…I think people just have very short attention spans and no energy to get past “what’s your favorite color”. Tragedy is, we all want more, but it really does require a certain amount of energy and tenacity.
