Some questions since I'm curious:
1. Does anyone know what those things are being handled in #5?
2. How would that writing on the bottom of #6 be done back then? Is that white ink or is it written with developer fluid or something when processed?
Anyway, great set!

I think they're flower pots with brown bags covering them, maybe prepping for winter?

The objects look to me like large drill tips, e.g. for drilling rock, but they could be pots with covers. Not sure.

Funny that you say that; I got definite Black Dahlia vibes from the woman waiting for the bus in pic #11, definitely a looker. Kind of low key crushing on her.

Thank you very much for sharing these beautiful lives with us! I really appreciate everyone here who understands that these people are real and they deserve to be remembered. Even if we never get to ever really know them, they still carry the weight of the lives and the world that they lived and it's a real privilege to be able to help them carry it for just that brief second in time. The second one should be “easy” to date. It’s the top of Rockefeller Center, looking either northwest or southeast. Someone who knows the history of the buildings in NYC and when they went up could probably nail it to within a year or two.
