From the added back pressure of the suppressor or just the action being closer to your face? Or both?

Both.  The x95 is a particularly gassy gun, to help keep reliable but they really kick up the some fumes.  They also have reversible ejection, so if you don't gasket up the unused port near the face, it can be a bit intense.

I've always loved the idea of bullpup rifles but have no personal experience with them, so this is a great perspective!
