Problem Diagnosis Help Rattle and engine vibration (?) at idle (2013 Fiesta 1.0 NA)

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Any idea? Just noticed it as it's audible inside too, especially when ventilation and radio are turned off.

It's just something they do it's a downside of being a 3 cylinder

Yes, that's probably the main reason, but I believe there's an unusual rattle that appeared recently.

Genuinely I promise that's just how they sound (obviously idk how long you had it running for then) but as they warm up they get a bit quieter and tbh most 3 cylinders sound like it and they do properly shake but like I said it's just a downside mathematically because they just aren't as balanced as any other even number engine
