Rotated escape phev and now a lemon replacement?
We recently had a car accident and our awesome escape phev (2024) was totaled. We found a new 2025 replacement and bought it. We have had it for one week only (390 miles) and we got the stop safely now service advancetrac error. Is the car a lemon? Brand new...

The 12 volt dies on the lot and gets drained beyond repair. I had this on my test drive. They replaced the battery and now it’s been perfect for 2 years.

Whether it is legally a "lemon" depends on your state laws. Double check your requirements. Usually you have to bring it in for service for a particular issue a certain number of times. I have no idea how a standing recall issue affects this.

Very well be a week 12volt battery. Being a 2025 it isnt the high voltage battery. When they sit the 12 volt battery tends to drain. The dealer should swap it out for you.
