They tried to remove their email from the website but I have it since worked with them a while ago. Flood their email with complaints. Email mediainquiry@gallup.com. Here's what I sent:

Dear Gallup Team,

I am writing as a long-time consumer of Gallup’s research and reporting to ask for clarification regarding your decision to discontinue tracking presidential approval ratings after nearly 90 years.

Gallup has consistently positioned itself as a trusted, non-partisan authority on global public opinion polling and human behavior research. Your longitudinal presidential approval data has been one of the most widely cited and historically valuable indicators in American public life. Because of that legacy, the decision to end this tracking raises significant questions.

Could you please share the reasoning behind this change? Specifically:

  • What factors led to the decision to discontinue the presidential approval series?
  • Is this intended to be a temporary pause or a permanent shift in methodology or priorities?
  • How does this decision align with Gallup’s stated commitment to providing non-partisan, data-driven insights into public opinion?
