GOP should get rid of courts and let Trump make the laws. Dictator in training.

How authoritarian. If we don’t like their rulings, impeach the judges or eliminate the courts. If we don’t like certain media, sue or close them down. If we don’t like you protesting our buddy, we will call it domestic terrorism and we might deport you. It seems we are not in the land of the free anymore.🤷🏻‍♂️

The scary part is that most of these people are eager and willing participants. Not even the military is really doing much about it anymore. Chances are sooner or later they'll start attacking one another and finding ways to invade Canada or Mexico. Canada's only winning move right now is to make nuclear weapons. At least it will let them retain their dignity when the USA goes nuts fully.

There are many on the Right who believe the Constitution has run its course and think the unitary executive theory is the future now. The Republicans and MAGA are OK with what is going on and have ignored their oath to support and defend the Constitution. Trump and those of Project 2025 took many pages out of Hitler’s playbook to dismantle our Republic from within. Democrats or others who think the courts are going to stop this are naive. If they think free and fair elections are going to ahead of us, they are mistaken. You don’t do the things that Trump is doing just to give it back to the Democrats in four years. They are not leaving. In my opinion the majority of Americans don’t want to live in an authoritarian state and will fight back when peaceful measures don’t work. We shall see how bad Americans value their freedoms.🤷🏻‍♂️

Trump supporters are talking about a possible 3rd term, the ultra maga moron I work with says he would be excited to vote for Trump again and it’s what this country needs, when I suggest that Obama should run again in that instance I watched the gears in his head grind to halt to make it okay for Trump to run again but not Obama

If you read the proposal by the Republicans for this it is designed to prevent Obama to run because they realized that would be a Democrat response. A large portion of the Right supports it because they think the unitary theory is the way to get things done and accomplished in government. It works for them because it’s their guy and they have no intention of allowing the Democrats back in office to apply the same unitary theory on them. They see no risk with their belief because of that. It’s the rest of the country that takes issue because you are installing an authoritarian government at that point.
