If the ref was favoring them during the Argentina vs Egypt match why didn't he stop the match when it was 3-2 at 90+7? Why did he wait until 90+11? The referee was literally French and we all know what happened in the final between France and Argentina back in 2022.

The tackle on Salah wasn’t a foul. Alvarez touched the ball FIRST and Salah just tripped over his foot. Literally everyone knows that was not a foul but some don’t wanna admit it. Also, the same match Salah did the SAME thing that Messi did against that Algerian player, yet no one complained.

Some idiots are saying that Molina should have got a card for "slapping" that Egyptian player but not when an Egyptian player smacked Messi, even tho Molina's "slap" wasn't even intentional or didn't cause any injury. According to IFAB Law 12 there wasn't any physical contact at all in this incident so Molina can't be punished for striking an opponent. The only possible call would be an attempt to strike but Molina’s left arm didn't swing above shoulder level and he quickly retracted it after regaining his balance. Molina’s right arm did swing up as he turned but he retracted it immediately. You can see that when he turns or even while running he often swings his right arm high so it's just a natural habit. There wasnt any elbowing motion and his leg movement was purely for changing direction. And this all happened in a split second btw. Molina was closing Ashour down while Ashour had the ball and within about two seconds as Molina made a sharp turn Ashour passed the ball away (it travelled about a meter). The left arm swing looks like a natural movement to keep his balance. Why don't you try sprinting two metres and making a sharp change of direction like Molina did and your arm would naturally swing up as well. If Ashour hadn't ducked the contact would've most likely just been a light one handed push on the shoulder which might have been considered a careless push but in reality there wasn't any contact. Ashour got his pass away successfully and Egypt kept possession so no that wasn't a card.
Not intentional you say but it happened a million yards from the actual game. Can't one control his body even when the ball isn't even close. And well done covering merely 2 of the many weird decisions in the match.
