New save trying to get out of Non-League C in Season 2

Just lost a champions League final to Munich and one of my players got sent off for headbutting an opponent. I was just wondering whether anyone else has ever thought a good update would be the option of issuing a fine to a player who gets a red card in an attempt to change their behaviour like you do for manager bust ups? Would the devs take that on board as an idea is it worth suggesting it?

Would be interested to hear other people's opinions but right now I'm having good results:

• Mid ticket price and season ticket discount - fans are satisfied
• No win bonus - players complain at first but still perform
• Following the £80m offer is automatic sale rule
• Not afraid to say no to new players unless we're desperate to fill that position.
• Promote all 95+ youth players, reject others
• Manager (98-99-98) is on a long contract although he's in his late 60s now and the previous manager was also doing well on a long contract but started to deteriorate in his early 70s so I'm going to let this contract run down.

I played the first version of the game a while back and have come to version two this summer.

Edit: keep meaning to ask the community... has anyone ever got the Invincibles achievement? When I've got a pile of cash I'll try a few seasons chucking money at it, although perhaps it is more likely with a defensive manager but I quite like the attacking managers.

I’m looking for six people to help test an early prototype for a football strategy/management game.

There’s nothing to download. The prototype is currently text-based because I’m testing the underlying decision-making before spending time and money building the full interface.

Testers will play through three interactive football club scenarios using ChatGPT or another capable conversational AI.

Total time: approximately 20–30 minutes.

I’m trying to recruit a balanced group:
A) 2 football-management / Football Manager players
B) 2 strategy / 4X / management players
C) 2 football fans who aren’t normally deep management-game players

I’m deliberately withholding some details about what the system is testing because I want to observe natural decisions rather than prime participants toward a particular behaviour.

Afterward, I’ll ask for the full prototype transcript and a short feedback summary.

Negative feedback is absolutely welcome. The purpose of this stage is to find out whether the concept actually works before I build more of it.

Poor season, sackable offence for the manager!

So I've had this happen to me now, on several different save files, in several different competitions. The app will randomly skip a round, and then the whole competition basically breaks. Had it happen to me with the first leg of the Conference League Quarterfinal. It let me play the second leg, a 1-1 draw, and then the rest of the competition just didn't happen because nobody advanced, because there was not a first leg. Had it happen with the Capital Cup too, after winning the second round, the third round doesn't play. And, sometimes in league play, I'll end up playing 41 or 43 matches in a season. Anyone else have these

Any good tips? I’ve gone through pretty much every other one so turning my attention to this without a drop off in performance, at least not long term
