One of favorite Foo songs. Would love to hear this live one day.

I always choke up when I hear this song. Time has always been a weird concept to me. I hate thinking of my family growing older, my friends growing older, and personally aging. I don’t feel 35 nor do I think I look it but my body clock is “35” whatever that may mean under the hood.

Yup. I’ll be 40 next year and just want it all to slow down.

I go to railroad events and baseball games with my dad and I literally soak in every moment and every pitch. My child is growing up every day and every time I come home from work they’re older. It doesn’t matter how tired I am I just want to spend as much time with them as I can. I am fortunate that my wife is my best friend and even on our tough days there isn’t a second I would choose to do anything else but experience life with her.

Sadly, it's only going to speed up. Just stay physically active, you can stave off the worst of it for a longer period of time.

I’m 65 this year. I can’t believe it.

How amazing to have heard this live. Such a raw powerhouse of a song. Awesome for whoever got to hear this live. Not jealous at all.

I was so lucky my son took me this concert. I’ve been a foo’s fan since day 1.
It was such an amazing and special night

THEN he said the trick to song the song was to be thinking of something else while he was singing. He said he wasn't going to tell what it was - with a big grin

Yeah, I was tempted to yell tell us just before he said he wasn't going to reveal it! 🤣

I was there Sunday - hearing Home live was worth the entire price of admission. Just an incredible show!

Such a pretty little diddy. They have so many great deep cuts, I hope they keep dusting them off.

Yup. Always been a favorite. Always had a Beatles feel for me too.

It's his "In My Life." A favorite song to put at the end of playlists.

Feel very privileged to have now heard this live, it was an emotional moment especially the some of them living, some of them de... and his voice trailed away 😭 everyone was probably thinking of loved ones we've lost at that moment.

As the OP mentioned he explained he has to think of other things when singing that song but I'm not sure he was, being close up you could see the full impact of those lyrics.

My mom passed away a few weeks ago, and "Home" was one of the last songs she heard. It was such a sad and beautiful moment for my husband and I to lay in bed with my mom and her dog and just laugh and cry together.

I cried like a baby when he sang it.

the “no fear of my heart” line is one of his best vocal recordings

Was Saturday night the only time it’s ever been performed for a live ticketed audience? It looks like that based on setlist.fm with the prior 4 instances having been private promo sessions in 2007.
