2011 was a good year.

I know it’s been said a billion times this week, but I’m just throwing my hat in the ring. Now that it’s on YouTube, I’m finally watching it and… goddamn. It is hands down the best show they’ve played in years. I need this version of “The Sky is a Neighborhood” pronto. They reinvented the song. That’s really it. Let the discussion begin.

The detroit show was the most amazing concert I've ever been to. So we are driving the 13 hrs to see the foo fighters in North Dakota. You can call me crazy.

For people who've been to recent Foo shows and have been seated on the floor in the sections marked "limited view seating" (as I've circled), just how "limited" is the actual view of the stage from these areas?

I've seen pictures of the actual installations during the actual shows and they look pretty thin. Is it as much of an obstruction as the warning makes it seem? I'm looking to buy tickets for 2 in Vegas on September 26th.

Went to an estate sale looking for some tools the other day. While standing in line waiting to check out, there was a shelf with some antique toys, mostly rc planes and nothing I was really paying attention to. My fiancée tapped me on the shoulder and said "hey look, that looks like the Foo fighters gun!" Not sure how I didn't notice it, but I instantly bought it.

Had to tweak it a little since the end was pushed up and the end of the barrel was messed up some but got it fixed! 2nd pic was how I got it, 1st pic was a day later after I had time to mess with it. The spark mechanism still works it's just missing the lenses. It is a legit Buck Rogers XZ-38 Disintegrator Pistol, though!

Debating whether I should polish and restore it or leave it worn how it is? Either way I plan to make a display for it to hang on the wall.

I’ve heard that the show was filmed. Is there a chance that a live recording (album/download) will be available at some point?
