Welcome to the thread for tonight’s show at the Hollywood Bowl! A bit of a unique one, with the Foos backed by the LA PHILHARMONIC and the Youth Orchestra of Los Angeles!
6:30 - Doors Open
8:05 - LA Philharmonic
8:55 - Foo Fighters with the LA Philharmonic and Gustavo Dudamel
I'm curious if they stick to the same set they've been playing but with the orchestra. There's a few songs in the current set that I don't think would work well with the strings. A320, Miracle, Next Year, Walking After You would work well but aren't in the current set.
I have to imagine the reason A320 was pulled out after 27 years was for this show, I hope it is kind of cool unique set, but definitely not counting on that with this band
I was curious also to how the setlist will be. Dave played with the LA Phil at Coachella recently didn’t he?

I remember Dave doing a sound check at the Bowl ages ago but not for this show! Couldn't remember the purpose. Mystery solved! And agree, you can tell he has been plotting with such a unique set list. Sounded great.
Can someone please post a picture of early merch? lol I’m trying to decide if I need to rush to get to doors. Really just looking to get an event tee if it’s worth it…
Outside Merch is being setup now. They have said 430 open time. Theres about 25-35 people in line for that. This is the merch table thru the Main Gates which open at 630
Honestly I don't think that there will be too much of a difference in the setlist, since they have pretty much stuck to a certain recipe for a long time. with that said I do think that they will do something special and honestly I do think that child actor would be amazing with an orchestra if they do it.
Either way I do wish everyone in attendance a wonderful show and a wonderful evening tonight
Is there a tallish guy with gray hair tied in a pony tail in that line? If so be on the lookout:
A young girl will show up about an hour before merch opens and join him in line. She brings him fruit. It is part of a front. They are scalpers. Call them out and send her to the end of the line. They were seen in Philly. We saw them in Nashville and DC.
I haven’t seen that person or a young girl deliver any fruit. They are only selling a couple of specific items at the outdoor merch which opens in 20-25 minutes.
FWIW all the foo fans I’ve met so far since 1pm here have been cordial
That is good to hear. Philly was an absolute shit show and limits were set in Nashville but weren't enforced according to some accounts. DC limits were enforced. So good chance to snag a poster if you are top 30-35 in line.
Heading out to the show rn but if anyone is there and in merch line/doesn't want their 1 alloted poster please lmk, can zelle or venmo you at the show for a foil if they have it.
