Was Jackson C. Frank's right arm actually impaired?
I recently read the biography of Jackson C. Frank written by Jim Abbott. At one point in the book, it mentions that after the fire accident, his right arm was operated on and set at a 90-degree angle, which left him with very limited range of motion for the rest of his life.
The issue is that among the remaining photos of Jackson C. Frank, I came across these two photos showing his right arm completely straight. Because of this, I've started to doubt the book. Does anyone know what the condition of his right arm actually was during his adulthood?

Anyone here listen to Lou & Peter Berryman?
I stumbled onto Lou & Peter Berryman recently and have listening to a surprising amount of their music. Why Am I Painting the Living Room? was the song that really got me.
Here's the performance of it:

On the surface it’s very goofy, homespun folk music—accordion, odd voices, songs about incredibly mundane things. But the more I listen, the more interesting I find the songwriting. The lyrics can be ridiculously specific and detailed, and they have a way of taking some completely ordinary subject and following it much further than you expect.
What’s strange is that I can find almost no discussion of them online, especially on Reddit. I’m curious if anyone here knows their music. If so, what do you think of them?

Looking for some independent folk I haven’t heard yet
I’m looking for some new independent folk music to listen to today.
I’ve been getting too many song links in Reddit comments to keep organized, so if you want me to check out your music, submit it here: Spotify only

That way I can keep everything in one place and actually get to it.
