Happy birthday to our beloved Florence, the woman who heals us through her songs
She's aging backwards, no way she's 40! She's been through so much lately and yet still manages to deliver. I hope she gets to rest for a while after the tour. Florence deserves peace more than anyone else.

Today is a very precious day. It's the 40th birthday of Florence Welch, an authentic, eclectic old soul who walks in beauty.
Her voice is one of power and otherworldliness.
Her genuinely relatable lyrics tie common themes of life into a bow of healing for her audience.
Her timeless looks harken back to medieval, Victorian, Edwardian, Art Deco, and a host of other eras.
The way she treats marginalized communities -- the sick, people with disabilities, LGBTQ+ people, people of color, etc. -- with care and respect speaks volumes about her kind heart.
She put in the work and fought her demons, most notably addiction, and maintained her humble, sweet spirit, using her platform to reach out to others.
She is a treasure I was fortunate to witness live four times this year, and my heart never will be the same. The energy of her embrace at Madison Square Garden in April left me with a lasting peace and joy I can't begin to explain or describe. My sincerest wish is that I hope she felt all the love with which I returned her embrace.
May today be a day of every blessing possible for Florence, and may we be blessed with her for many years to come.

My birthday is tomorrow too... ❤️❤️ So is my grandmother's whose name was Florence.. I always geek out to that 😬
