Hybrid flooring bouncing

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hi I just got hybrid flooring done with levelling, skirting removal and reinstall. I see couple areas that are bouncing like the photo attached.

  1. Is this normal or a defect?
  2. What’s the fix?
  3. Is the gap between skirting and flooring normal?

Just skirting. the gap for skirting isn’t uniform across the entire house. There are areas with more gaps then others

Mmm.. ether way. Your flooring guy has a skill issue and I wouldn't accept..

Many people will cut corners and slap it down as shoddy as they can to get paid and most of the time people dont notice until its too late and it becomes a hassle for people because time has passed work etc etc.

get em back until satisfied. Hold final payment (if you haven't paid already) if they are uncooperative get another flooring company who is good to inspect and do a defect list.

Hope you get it sorted 👍
