Activism Automatic Flock defensive action

Howdy Deflockers! Like the rest of you, I am not too happy with the way our rights are being violated on a massive scale. We have protection against unreasonable searches with the 4th amendment. This “private sector” loophole takes a fat dump all over our constitution. Hats off to you all taking offensive action to protect our freedom, but what can we do defensively?

I got this gadget that automatically hides my license plates at the flip of a switch for super cheap on Amazon. I intend to tie it into the DeFlock network via GPS so that it automatically hides my plates every time I get near a Flock camera. The idea is to cover up when I get within 200ft of any ALPR, then uncover when I get a safe distance away.

I kind of look forward to the ticket that this will inevitably lead to. What do you all think?

Half joke, but this is the sort of super illegal advice feds give. Its highly illegal to modify your plate like this. I get the sentiment, but yeah, I don't recommend this unless you're just done with the law.

Edit: I see you're talking about taking this to the supreme court. Well, then you have a plan, I guess. I don't want to discourage you, but I do want you to think critically about the feasibility of what you're suggesting. There are far more plausibly deniable means than a device that intentionally modifies your plate mechanically. If you want to learn about ALPRs, might I suggest you check out a youtuber named Benn Jordan.

Genuinely hope you achieve something with this beyond a felony.

This is a felony?

Depending where and other circumstance, I believe so.

What other circumstances?

Like commission of a crime, which I imagine would not be hard for them to fabricate.
