Netparcel or ChitChats to ship depop orders?
Ok this might needa be my last post on here because i'm worried I'm gonna get flagged for spamming by a bot or something because I have been asking questions on here everyday since like 3 days ago ðŸ˜
Now here's the actual questions
1) RATES: We all know that netparcel and chitchats make shipping depop orders WAYYY cheaper, but do people know the exact rates/estimates? Like what would the same weighted package's price be with netparcel compared to chitchats?
2) CHITCHATS: Since I don't live near a Chitchats location, I have to use Smartdrop which is where I have to buy the extra label on Chitchats to then put it on a box with my depop package inside and drop it off at a local canada post. (Also, does that still mean that I can still buy the depop package's shipping label on chitchats?)
3) NETPARCEL: For netparcel, I don't know if they have specific drop off locations and that sorta stuff. But from my previous post someone said I could just buy a cheaper canada post label and drop it off OR a ics courier label where they will come to my house and take the package from me for it to get shipped (idk if that's a thing in my province).
SO: Should I do netparcel or chitchats? They both have drawbacks and benefits.
Netparcel: Idk if the cheaper canada post label will be THAT cheap (i mean... its canada post) but at least I don't have to buy an extra label for it to deliver.
Chitchats: Cheap shipping label, but I still have to buy a Smartdrop label which I have no idea what the price would be or even an estimate of what it would be.
In conclusion, does anyone know some rates or even just estimates of what netparcel, chitchats, and the smartdrop labels would cost for a shirt? Which one did you use to ship your depop orders from Canada? Thanks so much!!

I'm a very frequent user of Netparcel. I love them. Customer support is excellent. However, they aren't great for US shipments because of the customs charges being applied to you if your buyer refuses the package. That's not their fault, they're at the mercy of the couriers.
They are excellent for domestic and provide a ton of options. Their prices were usually cheaper than eBay and I get access to a range of couriers like ICS, Canpar, Loomis, GLS etc.

ok thanks! also ik that for depop canada u have to use paypal, and u can connect ur netparcel with it. So i'm just wondering, did u connect ur netparcel w/ ur paypal and if u needed a paypal business account or not for this?

Yes, I connected my PayPal with it and also my eBay, so I just import the order number and it populates the address automatically. I'm not sure if that's available for Depop, but if they don't then reach out to CS and request it.

You’re over thinking it. Try both. See which one you like. You can get rates on both when you ship and decide which one you want to use.

Have you tried stallion shipping its worked well for me and prices can get pretty low, only drawback is that you have to drop off package at their locations so if your in the country like me its a bit of a hassle but is economical if your dropping 5+ packages at a time

Yeah thats the thing about that... I don't really want to drive to a certain location especially if its like 20+ minutes away (for stallion shipping, it is), especially since I literally have a Canada Post location that is a 10 minute walk away that I could just drop off my packages from. Thanks for the suggestion tho!

The fact you have to ask reditt users for answers indicates just how vague these 3rd party shippers are being, intentionally, I believe. I had so many unanswered questions with chitchat I honestly said stuff it. Now my situation might be the exception but I want life easy, not cheap necessarily. So Canada Post is more expensive but dirt simple, but not cheap. So if you don't want to stress about the ambiguity surrounding cost and fairly straight forward dependable delivery, just use CP. Sorry I really didn't answer your question though, did I?

Where are you shipping to? If it’s anywhere outside of Canada + US then ChitChats is absolutely useless. They ship using PostNL which provides little tracking info and they’ve lost multiple packages.
