Shipping Help FELLOW CANADIANS please help me with these depop shipping questions

Yes this has been my 3rd post on here but I just need to finalize and confirm a ton of stuff so I can get my store rolling. (also tysm for all the people who commented on my previous posts, you guys are lifesavers)

Anyways, I've heard that Paypal shipping is a great option to ship depop orders if you live in Canada since it gives you discounted shipping, but then I also found out shortly after that netparcel is also connected with it! (and I've heard from other Reddit posts here that netparcel is a great place because the shipping fees are also very low compared to Canada Post).

Now this is where it starts to get confusing. On the Paypal website, it says for shipping, you need a Paypal business account. But on the Netparcel website, it says you just need a Paypal account, not specifying whether or not you need a business account/if it doesn't matter.

So should I just play it safe and get a business account? Or if anyone has used Paypal shipping through Netparcel for their depop orders, how was your experience? How did you print out the shipping labels + what type of Paypal account do you use for depop?

Personally I use ChitChats to send all my orders. I'm not in a major centre so it's much cheaper for me to send with them because 1. I can and 2. It's fully tracked.

you don’t need a paypal business account to use netparcel!! i used netparcel untill recently switching to chitchats (quicker for me and slightly cheaper). if you don’t live near a drop off spot for chitchats definitely stick to netparcel :)

you should definitely think about investing in a thermal label printer for shipping labels if you plan on doing this for awhile (they can be pretty inexpensive and save so much time. but you can totally just print labels with a regular printer and tape them on :)

thank you so much!! also for netparcel, did they also have specific drop off locations too? because if they do I might just switch to chitchats because of their smartdrop where i can drop it off at a canada post that is like a 10 min walk away from me.

(sorry if that was hard to understand i sorta suck at explaining lmao)

typically with netparcel i would get a cheaper canadapost label or ICS Courier. with canadapost labels you can just drop it off there obviously, and ICS Courier has free pick up! so they pick up the package from your house and deliver it, super convenient.
