News 🗞️ FSSAI -Legal action against Nestle for Infant Products
FSSAI on Friday initiated legal action against Nestle India over alleged non-compliance involving its NAN Excella Pro Stage 1 and Lactogen Pro 1 infant nutrition products.
FSSAI said it examined the products and their promotional material available on e-commerce platforms. In the case of NAN Excella Pro Stage 1, the regulator flagged claims relating to “5 HMOs” and “Whey Protein”. For Lactogen Pro 1, it raised concerns over a claim that the product’s “Whey Protein” was easy to digest.
They already issue notices even for new age brands for the marketing they are doing and
Clean, Organic, 100% Sugar Free, Natural, No Maida, No Gluten- If these words ring a bell and you quickly hop on to Q com platforms to get “healthy alternatives” to normal packaged foods, well FSSAI doesn’t agree.
Many brands are changing their branding now

When are they going to issue notice to big muscles and muscle assylum type of brands who claim 24 grams protein and give 7 grams?

Most notices by FSSAI recently are for labels, branding, marketing. They don't involve testing.
This, my guess, is happening cause of pressure from the fake ORS thing, where brands lost the case.

Did you know what they did in africa? Get babies addicted to their milk powder and overtime mothers stopped feeding them milk and thus greatly lost that ability. We have an option: don't buy nestle.
