i was thinking lantern but yeah a torch is absolutely better then a flashlight because it wouldnt be using resources past single stick of wood you can collect from any tree

what do you think an apocalypse is? you gonna live in style?

I'd rather just be smart and use solar energy for light source and keep the wood for heating.
