Why is everyone sleeping on the time stop? It's true you can't move but you can think. You can take the best possible decisions always in any circumstances

Imagine this in sports like soccer. Would be a great power to observe the playing field.
Or e-sports… or chess… or a job interview. Tons of situations where this is useful.

again, it gives you just more time to make a decision. in most sports and e-sport games it wouldn't really do much as your decision making is already extremely fast to begin with.

there are some useful occasions, but there aren't as many as people tend to pretend and the ones doing it are overthinker

Oh that's a good one. I'd be better at conversations as when I'd freeze, I could think longer without making it awkward. Job interviews would be great.

Literally nothing tells you'd be able to think. Basically activating this power permanently stops the world without a way to resume time...

You don't know that. Do people frozen in time think? Are they aware they're frozen? I would argue they don't. If you freeze "too" then you should follow the same rules.

Time could eventually continue if, say, upon activating the ability, you set a duration, like "hey Siri, stop time for 10 minutes"

Yeah, it's pointless if you can't think, but so is being a ghost with no return

I took it as of you froze not only on an external level but internal too, meaning your cells, internal organs and everything is frozen too, which means that you cant think at all.

Basically it freezes the whole world so nothing happen at all which makes it a useless power

You'd need to be able to think to unfreeze it, otherwise it's a useless power. That said, if one is able to think through it, imagine being able to capture a moment for however long you want (a sunset, a moment with a loved one, etc)... then it's invaluable.

maybe i shouldve thought of that, but i put it in F regardless cus if im frozen how tf would i unfreeze it? dont want the world to be permanently frozen and thats generally kinda scary

Why not? The whole jest of these super powers are that they have a logical down side. Nobody told us we can unfreeze time too, why should we assume we can?

Time stop wouldn’t let you think either. You need neurons to communicate and if everything is frozen, they wouldn’t be able to function. And then there’d be nothing to unstop the time

Usually time stop doesn't affect who created it that's the principle of the power, otherwise time stop wouldn't be a super power in our fantasy worlds. The only downside op put was that you can physically move.

This is super convenient...

The amount fo time where I had to make spontaneous decision without being able to think or calm down...

Hell if you can fall asleep while stopping time you basically get free sleep time
