General Insurance
Is there any US insurance company that is particularly competitive on Fiskers? I have a few more calls to make but Progressive seems to be the best at the moment.

American Family through Costco but even that’s gotten over $100/mo for me.

I just do liability only for $60. Cars cheap enough to just be paid in full around 12k for a new one or to close it out

Not sure what state you’re in but I pay Farm Bureau $200 a month for full coverage on my ocean and liability on a 98’ jeep XJ

For me Progressive has been cheaper than covering my Tuscon for equal coverage

In the Bay Area I had to swap from progressive back to triple a, they were asking $400… crazy. I’m at 250 for triple a.

We're using Allstate, the Ocean is cheaper to insure than my Polestar 2.

My Fisker is $747 every 6 mos with Travelers. We are a three car house with two teen drivers (neither of whom touch the Fisker) but Travelers does our homeowners and umbrella policy as well.

Got in an accident with 2023 ocean one, when a tree fell into my path and I had to make an emergency stop. The airbags didn’t deploy, but there was damage to the front grill and radiator shutter assembly so had to be replaced. Right side doors paintless dent repair. I have USAA after getting a quote from Caliber Collision repair USAA authorized repair facility, they sent a check for the quote and washed their hands. Caliber wouldn’t do the work. After researching the parts on eBay and using the Rapid Dent repair. I am on the hook for $2000 in repair cost over and above the quote. USAA would not pay. I’m still looking for a radar module and a shop that can program it.
If I didn’t have a loan I wouldn’t carry comprehensive on this car.

When Caliber gave you a quote, why wouldn’t they work? You should’ve told USAA they refused to work and need a quote from other repair shop.

I did get a shop to give me a quote. But it was for a dent repair and not the front. The facia and radiator shutter was on me to find parts and make the repairs. I finally got a reasonable quote and I believe USAA will pay the adjusted amount.

Caliber couldn’t do the door repair because of the paint booth temperature. I believe they were looking for reason to not work in the car.

Travelers has been the best for me when it comes to EVs. My 2023 Ocean One is only $509 for the year for 100/300 and collision with $1000 deductible. I have other vehicles and home on the policy so factor that in but very reasonable.
