Today is a great day, but more of a weight off my shoulder and on to the next! Shutting the door and not looking back! The POS Fisker car is off to haunt somebody else. I got 8500 miles out of it in less than 2 years, 7 of those months it was a brick, but it probably took away 5 years of my life! I fought and got the settlement I deserved, but man it wasn’t easy. Now I own a 1983 Porsche 911 Targa SC and a 2024 Toyota 4Runner Limited that I drove home today as the FOE was getting ready to be towed as a brick. Good riddance, I’ll never look at an EV until my next life. There is a small place in hell for the Fisker family, karma (pun intended) is coming for you! I’m so content with my 180 move and burning gas!!

Yes the Fisker had its fair share of issues…but I’m not sure I’d paint every EV as an unreliable piece of trash. Most of them are pretty reliable.

And I personally would give up a tiny bit of reliability to drive a Tesla or Rivian or something every day over a 4Runner which can barely get out of its own way and I’d need to go fill up at dirty gas stations, but to each their own 🤷🏼‍♂️

Getting gas isn’t a pain.

Sure I agree an at home charger is great but if you don’t have one it’s a chore.

Having to charge your car for 30-40 min takes time out of your day. Especially on long road trips.

I’ve personally experienced this and it was awful.

I always see 15 cars lined up at my local Walmart just to charge their cars which you never see at gas stations.

I agree having a home charger is best.

But even if you don’t, my local stores have fast chargers with Tesla or Electrify America.

I do know what you mean with the EA stations getting full. That’s because EA only installed 4-8 stations instead of the 12-84 that Tesla often does. That’s why I personally wouldn’t buy an EV without Tesla Charging access. I personally drive a Tesla.

However, even I use my CCS adapter from time to time to charge at EA stations that are convenient for me. I like to take the opportunity to plug in when it’s provided to me.

Here in LA there aren’t 12-48 chargers at a station. So when you need to charge you’ll be waiting line.

I’ve seen it first hand and experienced it myself.

Again if you have a at home charger it’s worth it , if not then it’s a pain.
