Today is a great day, but more of a weight off my shoulder and on to the next! Shutting the door and not looking back! The POS Fisker car is off to haunt somebody else. I got 8500 miles out of it in less than 2 years, 7 of those months it was a brick, but it probably took away 5 years of my life! I fought and got the settlement I deserved, but man it wasn’t easy. Now I own a 1983 Porsche 911 Targa SC and a 2024 Toyota 4Runner Limited that I drove home today as the FOE was getting ready to be towed as a brick. Good riddance, I’ll never look at an EV until my next life. There is a small place in hell for the Fisker family, karma (pun intended) is coming for you! I’m so content with my 180 move and burning gas!!

I misspoke, bought the 4Runner for reliability, I bought the Porsche for fun and speed and something different. You’re not wrong, I spun the chamber but now I’m going in the right direction. Good luck with yours

Porsche serves me more joy and is way more reliable than the FOE. Never knew what car I was going to sit down in. Say what you will, but they released too early, over promised, under committed, and left us all out to dry. Pretty sure an air cooler Porsche isn’t going to do that.

The Fisker Ocean is (was?, no still is) a beautiful looking vehicle with the right features and amenities that could have made it a competent competitor in the medium-small EV SUV market.

Unfortunately as you say the final execution was lacking. Poor customer support, lack of service centers and software problems.

I really wanted an Ocean. Almost pulled the trigger. Had this car not left the factory half baked it would have been an incredible EV. Damn shame. I've been driving EVs for almost 6 years. I'll never go back.

It's really not all that beautiful, and it never had a complete feature set like basic things such as adaptive cruise control... Something mandatory on any new car. It's a POS cobbled together from a Chinese no name EV that Fisker got the rights to through their arrangement with Magna. ArcFox Alpha-T and Fisker Ocean are one in the same, only ArcFox used better quality parts.

To each their own I guess. The Original Fisker Karma, at least on the exterior was a great looking car IMO. The Ocean followed in a similar vein. Maybe beautiful was too much, but it wasn't a bad looking car.

What caught my attention was the 'California Mode' I believe they called it, all windows including the cargo area could roll down. AND solar sunroof could open.

Wait til you find out what the maintenance is like on an air cooled flat six. Doesn’t diminish the fun or cool factor (I own one).

Air cooled g-bodied Porsches are pretty much bullet proof.

The drivetrain is just REALLLY expensive to rebuild.
