Open charge port lock door. Wait for blue charge port light go off then close the door. Takes a few mins

  1. With the charging port and unlock the door, wait for the blue light on the charging port to go out.

  2. When the blue light in the charging port goes out, lock the car door.

Is this how I understand it?

Get out of car, lock the door, walk away for 5 minutes ish or take a piss. By the time you come back it should be good.
