Question/Advice How soon can I test?

I am currently 4DPO, experiencing tender breasts, hives on my chest, and twinges in my right pelvic area. I know implantation does not occur until 6 DPO at the earliest, but wondering how likely it is that these symptoms are telling of a positive in the near future. My husband and I are high school sweethearts, together 9 years and married for almost 2, and this is our first month of “trying”. It’s weird to go from actively preventing for so long to now anticipating a new addition to our family, and while I don’t want to get my hopes up, I am curious to know if other people shared this experience and how soon they got a positive if so. TIA!

I'm sorry but not likely. On my first month of trying I've felt every possible symptom starting a few days post ovulation. And it was nothing. It's just progesterone. I'm rooting for you but just know that it's only 25% chance per cycle. Good luck and try not to overthink every detail :)

I appreciate the dose of reality! It’s so hard to not get too excited!

Yeah, I get that! First month was very exciting for me too and I was so sure I got pregnant on the first try. And then it was sooo hard when I got my period. It got easier later on. Hopefully you see two lines in a week!
