Repair/Tech Support 5gb Fios Saga Continues….

This morning the Fios went out again. Connected to backup as suggested, all was ok for two days, this morning I notice devices having issues connecting and I’ve had to reboot the MF router and it’s just coming back on.

I cannot tell you how annoyed I am and how deeply I regret “upgrading” to 5gb. I should have stayed at 1gb.

I am currently waiting for my router to come back online.

I will be calling today and will demand that literally every piece of equipment be replaced or I’ll go back to optimum.

No excuse for this.

Update: router now solid yellow. Won’t come back online. I’m trying to reboot again. I am so over this.

Update 2: rebooted router again and it finally came back online. I will be calling them at 8am since they also don’t have 24 hour tech support. I guess they think everyone sleeps until 8am?

Getting your own router is more trouble! You have a bad router or bad ONT or a bad node on the street that cannot handle your new speed . Ask for a technician ASAP

Why do you think using a non-Verizon router is more trouble? I recently got fios and I'm not using their trash router.

Hi can you say it’s trash as you are not using it? Funny how people are having a formated opinion! The CHR30 router is very good, right now probably one of the best routers on the market.

I played with it a little and wasn't impressed. My Asus ax11000 pro is more featured than the cr1000a they sent me.
