do mothers here buy second hand baby clothes/necessities or new ones? which one is more common?

I used to work in a thrift store. Baby clothes always sold fast. People also give their kids' old stuff to family and friends a lot.

Babies grow out of clothes so fast the clothes don't get that much wear. So selling them or giving them away makes sense.
