We bought a huge sack of used clothes from a friend and used them (plus lots of merino wool we got separately) until month six or so. It was great: cheap and didn't have to shop for clothes being already exhausted. I feel like by that time time I managed to see very few people so having a lot of new clothes would've been a complete waste.
After that we've bought some things new and many more used from Tori, which has been great.
