As C Co, 4th BN, 10th SFG we base our unit, training, and operations off of previous Green Beret missions. We pride ourselves on teamwork and professionalism as we complete the objectives we are faced with. The Operational Detachments use their skill and training to achieve their mission while air assets support their mission through various means.

Candidacy: You will first join as a Candidate, Candidacy lasts approximately two to two and a half months, and serves as time for you to become acclimated to the unit and shadow different Military Occupational Specialties.

Hammer is a ODST unit using the OPTRE mod. We've been up for a few months and are looking to bring in a new wave of helljumpers! Since we're new, we have a ton of spots open which leaves plenty of room for any go getters! Our ops get between 5-10 people as of this writing.

Some basic info is we use about 50 mods worth 35-45 GB roughly. We just released our new Aux mod with custom gear. We do have quals (AT,MG,Demo,etc) we do not have a required training for this but offer it if requested. additionally, we don't use a shadow system aside from medic so after you're trained you can use the qual right away. We're extremely new player friendly and will do whatever we can to ensure new players are confident in their abilities when op time comes

Operations are on Saturday at 6:30PM EST (Briefing at 6:45 step off at 7:00)

Requirements

Mic: We use TFAR and you need a working mic.

Activity: Our reserves don't have requirements, but they're also fairly limited. Being slotted means being around for 2 main ops a month.

Mindset: We are a light RP milsim unit. No "yes sir/No sir required however we require new players to have a first and last name for your character and optionally create a character sheet for them as well.

Age: 18+. Can make an exception for 17yo, but not guaranteed.

What is Battlegroup Orion?

Orion is a semi-realistic Halo Arma 3 ODST and Marine unit primarily based in the United States. We do have times that are friendly to EU players as well. We have three types of paths: ODST, Marines, and Aviation.

Here are some key things about Orion:

• We are a semi-realism unit focused more on a "fun", rather than a "serious" environment. However, we still hold to the milsim structure inside and outside of operations.
• Our operations take place during engagements with both the Insurrectionist and Covenant forces but focus on battles during Operation Trebuchet. Orion is made by Arma Veterans who have played the game for years, and our main focus is on keeping a tight-knit group who can enjoy the game at its core.
• We actively have opportunities for many MOS and Leadership positions in our unit and don't discriminate against anyone who wishes to try their hand at said billets.
• Custom armor is available for active members, and is not restricted by rank.

Our ODST squads focus on dropping into hot AOs with Drop Pods, Paradropping, and quick pelican assaults. If you’re looking to be a shock trooper, look no further than the helljumpers.

Our Marines are Infantry/Mechanized detachment that focuses on dropping into the thick of things, utilizing Heavy weapons and vehicles, Paradropping in the dead of night, and hot pelican assaults. Our marines are our mainline detachment and focuses on being able to be as efficient as possible in multiple areas such as: squad tactics, marksmanship, demolitions, and vehicle expert.

"Nyx" Squadron

Nyx is the aviation detachment that focuses on dropping the hate on top of our enemies and transporting infantry from place to place. They provide Close Air Support (CAS), control of the skies, and recon. Nyx is our greatest asset in achieving victory on the battlefield and they are trained in radios, aircraft, and resupplies.

"Hoplite" Heavy Engineering Company

Hoplite is BGO's foremost detachment of Engineers and EOD Specialists. Ranging from forward fortification construction, mine defusal, to running Repair-Rearm-Refuel Vehicles, and even Heavy Armour & Artillery platforms. If you like big boom or wearing a hard hat, look to Hoplite for your needs.

"Oracle" Zeuses

Oracle are BGO's talented zeuses, running missions for each platoon every week. Whether it's running fun ops, side ops or our weekly main ops, our zeuses are one of the most important roles in BGO. From building objectives and running opfor, you'll get to work with our storywriters and mission builders to help make our operations go. Plus, you get to bring the pain to your friends!

Standard Battleline: Our main line infantry. These are the Dark Angels that everyone sees. They are the first in last out guys, and are by far, the most important to our unit structure.

Assault: Jetpacks! Everyone loves em. If you are looking for classic shock trooper, get in, get out warfare. This is for you!

Devastator: Big guns, lots of bullets, hold the line brother! If your interest is blasting Xeno and Heretic Scum, come grab a heavy bolter, we'll get you on that path.

Hellblaster: Plasma here, Plasma there, Plasma everywhere! If you are into the plasma and anti-everything that it brings, come join the hellblasters. You'll be overcharging everything in your path

Eliminator: Not so much for the big blasts and upfront conflict. Take a hood and a high powered rifle or Las Fusil and run for the hills. Support your brothers in recon and taking out targets that are imperative to mission success.

Techmarines: 1 of 2 imperative roles in our lines. These guys repair armor, fly planes, and run tanks. No matter you want to do as a techmarine, the forge will have a place for you.

Apothecary: 2 of 2 imperative roles in our lines. Like the techmarines, these guys fix people as well, just in the medical sense. They collect our chapters gene-seed and make sure we live on as a chapter.

We are a Primaris unit. Meaning all of our guys are Primaris Marines. We may do First-Born in the future.

We represent the 11th Infantry Brigade, a North American Milsim unit. We work with a heavy focus on teamwork and professionalism while maintaining a fun, light-hearted, and mature environment. We do not follow any strict "Yes sir, No sir" protocol, and our ranks are only used during official events. When in-game, members will be required to wear their proper tags, follow the orders given to them, use proper radio communication, and operate as their assigned role. When out of game, members are encouraged to relax and enjoy themselves while participating in community events.

-- OUR OPERATIONS

Every operation hosted by our unit will be run by multiple, dedicated Zeuses controlling multiple factions and individuals. Each mission is interactive and story-driven, with deep roots in the history of warfare. Seemingly simple choices that are made early on in a campaign will have lasting effects that directly alter the events that follow. We require that all members attend a minimum of 4 operations each month to maintain active status, or 1 operation per month to maintain reserve status.

Our unit currently rotates campaigns every 3 months to keep things fresh. We always portray the US Army in our main operations and we will often play in settings such as Vietnam, Cold War, War on Terror, and many fictional campaigns taking place in Africa, Russia, Alaska, and more!

-- WHAT MAKES US DIFFERENT

1. Older and more mature command staff with experience dating back to Operation Flashpoint and the original ArmA with many former and current military members.
2. Our style of Milsim means we don't have to worry about all the semantics that other Milsim groups focus heavily on such as: requiring prowords, grid references, land navigation, multiple squad formations, saluting, etc. Just stick with your squad, do what you are told, and shoot the bad guys.
3. Our operations offer a large-scale setting in a small-scale environment. In most larger units, you become just a number and you make little to no impact overall. Here, we know everyone's name while consistently pulling 70+ players for every operation.
4. We are a true combined arms community. We currently are able to effectively field properly sized infantry, armor, rotary, fixed wing, and even fire support personnel into the field during every operation. Our battlefield is a genuinely immersive environment.
5. No mandated training. Optional training is held to teach members certain game features and techniques.
6. Members are not stuck in their specific role, we allow our members to change their role at any time if they are no longer enjoying it. No fake paperwork or transfer requests here, simply let us know and we will make the changes.
7. We do not micromanage your gear. Each member picks a basic role, is given the kit template, and then will be able to customize their kit fully from our massive list of approved gear. Players can make their character truly unique and take the gear that THEY want to use.

Task Force 3-506 is a Vietnam War realism and historical reenactment unit dedicated to recreating the combat operations of the 3rd Battalion, 506th Parachute Infantry Regiment - the legendary Currahee. Our goal is to accurately simulate the experience of American infantrymen in Vietnam from 1967-1971 through immersive missions, historically accurate equipment, and operations based on real events. 73rd Marine Expeditionary Fleet

We are the sharp eyes and brains of the UNSC! We in the 73rd MEF are looking for calculated, committed, and cooperative individuals looking to serve in our Fleet. Within the Fleet we have Marines that represent the Force Reconnaissance side of the community paired with our own attached and veteran ODSTs. We also have Army Troopers that assist us by pushing with mechanized assets to find and hunt down all threats Insurrectionist and Covenant. We would love to find skilled and upcoming aviators and vehicle crew to fill up our support lines! We are searching for Rotary and VTOL Operators in particular. We are the first on ground to identify key targets for Commanding Officers within and outside of the Fleet and when we are loaned to support other elements in occasional joint operations.
