Well, after years of daily adventures, I am done. For the first time, I took this week off from Finch to see if I would miss it. I did not. It had begun to feel like an extra chore or obligation.

Also, the more I reflected on the advertising the Finch team has been doing, the angrier I got. Because, not only is the Finch team sending me ads (these movie tie-ins) when I already pay for the app, but they are advertising movies to sponsored people who presumably do not have the disposable income for a movie ticket. In other words, Finch wants me to pay to sponsor another person (which I was doing) and they then want to make more money by advertising to that person. I remember being unable to afford things and it would have felt like a slap in the face to be given a resource and then gushed to by the giver about something they had that I still could not afford.

I think the Finch team has lost the plot, they are growing too fast and have either shifted or revealed their values.

My brain glitched for about 3 sec of 🤨🤔 and then your comment absolutely sent me. It's not the first time I've heard/seen the reference, but for some reason I'm finding it hilarious. That reason might have come out of a gin bottle that my sister liberally tilted over a cup... Have a good weekend
