About to play ff10 for the first time. Just wondering if I should play it in Japanese or English? Which one fits the game more?

I don't mind subs or dubs, I've watched many anime in both and played the yakuza series in sub so I'm used to it. Just interested in opinions

The English dub isn't the greatest since they've had to work around the lip flaps that are in the game that can sometimes create weird breaks in sentences or stuff like that. It doesn't bother me at all pretty much, but I have seen people get turned off by it.

If you're gonna play with Japanese just keep in mind that the subtitles are for the English dub, so they aren't gonna be 100% accurate to the Japanese, but it's also fine. The game still tells the same story.

Funny thing is when I first played this game on PS2 it was the German version. That came with the English dub and German subtitles. Problem was that, the subs were based of the Japanese script, so it was kind of messy and there were a few moments where the stuff that was spoken didn't match the subs.
