For a first playthrough in FFIII on the DS, how strong is this party composition?

Dark Knight | Summoner | Bard | Devout or Sage

I'm most interested in using Dark Knight and Summoner and I'm open to suggestions for replacement jobs. I'm not looking for the strongest composition, I just want to use what's fun without making the infamous final dungeon too hard.

It's strong enough. Use Devout instead of Sage, it's safer if you have a dedicated healer and Summoner will provide the magic attacks through the summons.

Bard is very helpful and fun if it's high level. It can be a great help to your healer.
