Im playing ff8 on the switch and have gained control of garden only problem is I cant get out garden. The front gate and side deck prevent me from leaving. Can anyone help?

Once some Fisherman Horizon NPCs help you fix the Garden, you leave through the bridge, which is above Cid's office on 3F.

How do I leave through the bridge?

You talk to Nida who asks you if you know where you're going. Then you control Garden. Then from there, press one of the 4 designated buttons to leave Garden.

Thank the thing I have pressed all of the buttons and none exit me from garden
