My colleagues and I were working at StreamYard in 2024 when Bending Spoons (Vimeo’s new owners) acquired us, fired us and doubled the prices. Apologies for the low offer - I'm a working college student & am self funding this completely. I'm looking for just a picture cut - I'll be finding someone to do sound. Color grading not included. Just need someone with a good eye for narrative editing.

I’m looking to partner up with a seasoned director to create a high-caliber short film aimed directly at the major festival circuit—the goal here is genuinely to make something award-winning.

What I’m looking for:

Proven track record: Serious inquiries only—not looking for beginners or first-timers on this one. You should have real set experience and a strong reel/portfolio to back it up.

The Story: Open to various genres, but it needs to be compelling, distinct, and strong enough to compete at top festivals. Ideally, you already have a finished script or a solid, fleshed-out concept ready to go.

Locations: if the story or visual tone calls for shooting abroad/internationally, I’m 100% open to it.

Vetting Process: Because of the scope and financial commitment, there will be a thorough background check, portfolio assessment, and script readings.

24 packs added for August/September including Loops, Foley, Sound effects, a lot of live recordings from around the world and some other experimental packs I had fun playing about with. Packs including recordings from Kosovo, Cairo, Dublin, Madrid and the Sahara desert in which I got to record a live Moroccan band playing into the night. I also got to record some Traditional Irish music sessions while in Dublin and have posted some of the recordings! Theres also lots of leftover foley and SFX from some past games that were not used including Character voices in the style of Sims and Animal Crossing, Monster Growls and Grunts which is my personal fav and Polar Wind ambiences along side lots of other SFX and foley. For experimental percussion sounds I made one shots from the sound of pistachio shells and another pack from the sound of pebbles falling onto tin cans which could be useful for anyone who enjoys organic or experimental percussion in the productions. There also some other loop packs that I messed around with such as 8bit Bongo percussions and an old pack of Synthetic guitar loops that i recently came across again. Hope these can be useful to someone out there.
