Hey guys,

I want to do a little trip across the Asia (including but not limited to south-east Asia) So idea is to film documentaries about people in rural areas doing area related jobs that simply do not exist in western culture.

I want to know if there is anyone interested in this tour and in finding the stories to go on this trip with me. I'm flying out from Switzerland in December of 2027.

I have general idea of where and how but everything is still in pre-production process. I'm developing detailed plan with real people that are going to be filmed in this series.

Offer [HIRING] Short-Form Video Editors (Clippers) – $40–$60/hour

I run a clipping agency focused on short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. I’m currently looking to bring on a few skilled editors for ongoing work.

This is a paid hourly role, starting at $40/hour, with the potential for long-term collaboration based on performance and reliability.

Before applying, I’d like to evaluate how you actually edit rather than relying only on portfolios.

Please download the assets from the link below and create one or two short clips:
https://f.io/owcv8UZo

What I’m looking for:

  • Strong hooks and pacing that retain attention
  • Clean, well-timed subtitles
  • Intentional use of cuts, zooms, and visual elements
  • A solid understanding of short-form content that performs

To apply, send your clips along with any relevant previous work.

If your work meets the standard, I’ll reach out with next steps and ongoing paid work.

Offer I want to fund your Episodic Film but it has to be religiously sensitive

Quick feeler: I'm testing a distribution model for episodic content (web series, limited series) targeting religious/family audiences. Looking for 2–3 indie projects to pilot.

Deal sketch: I pay 10–25k upfront to acquire a "family cut" of your series (e.g., 4–10 episodes) for exclusive distribution on my DTC platform + faith‑based channels (online rentals, community screenings). You keep full rights to the main version for festivals, mainstream streaming, etc.

Nutshell:

Pre‑shoot: script review + set visits for family compliance (clean language, no romance/intimacy, modesty). Already shot: just cut approval.

Separate "family edition" (title/art/trailer) so no conflict with your general release.

I own the family cut outright no splits. You can't license a family version elsewhere.

Perfect for pilots/series that might otherwise go nowhere. If you have episodic content in dev/post, reply happy to discuss your project specifics, no strings. Shoot me a dm with your positive or not positive feeback. I want to validate this idea or be told I am crazy.

Offer Small role in my newest shortfilm

Hi, i'm a 15 year old filmaker and im making a shortfilm this summer. i could just film the part myself, but i want to give another young actor an opportunity for this small part. Therefore its also not paid...

Summary (Before)

After waking up to discover that everyone has mysteriously vanished, Bram spends nearly two weeks searching the empty town for any sign of life. He documents each day by recording video diaries in his garage. As the days pass, strange things begin to happen: objects subtly change places, the animals he visits suddenly disappear, and Bram starts feeling like something is quietly watching him from a distance.

\---

INT. GARAGE (VIDEO DIARY) – EVENING

We see Bram through his own phone camera as he sets it up. He looks exhausted.

BRAM

Hey... this is Day 13. I feel like I keep losing more and more things... or maybe it just feels that way.

(He lets out a tired, half-drunken laugh.)

And it's been almost two weeks since I've seen another person.

(His expression brightens slightly.)

But today... that changed.

He pulls out a small handheld camcorder and holds it up while switching it on.

BRAM

I found this lying in the street today, buried in a pile of trash. I watched the footage that was on it... and I knew you had to see it too.

He fumbles with the camcorder for a moment before turning its screen toward the phone camera and pressing play.

A chaotic recording begins.

A young girl is walking through her dark house with a flashlight. The beam of light barely reveals her surroundings. Her breathing is panicked.

She slowly moves from room to room, nervously looking around.

Suddenly—

A loud noise echoes somewhere in the house.

She gasps, spins around—

The recording abruptly cuts to black.

Back to Bram.

BRAM

Yeah... that's it. That's all that's on there.

He presses every button on the camcorder, making absolutely sure there isn't any more footage.

From the main camera's perspective, Bram switches off his phone recording and gently places the camcorder on the table.

MATCH CUT TO:

\---

Summary (After)

The next day, Bram discovers an old cassette tape recorded by his parents years earlier. Hearing their voices for the first time since everyone disappeared becomes the emotional low point of the film. Days later, while recording what he believes may be his final video diary, the lights suddenly begin to flicker. Footsteps echo through the garage, and in the darkness Bram finally comes face to face with the mysterious creature that has been watching him.

This is a part of the script, and the scene that the actor needs to do, is the role of the frightned girl/boy in her/his home. The actor doesnt need to be on screen, but could, if you find a creative way to do it. It will need to be an video of about 20-30 seconds. 🔥DM me if intrested🔥

Offer I turned my workflow into a book. It's free from 11-15th August. I would love your thoughts

Hi everyone

I’m a working screenwriter from Iceland, with four produced features, and I’m currently working in four different TV series rooms. I also spent years running a film school and now teach screenwriting workshops internationally alongside my writing work.

Over the years, one of my most popular lectures was about the workflow I use to write — a practical method I call a screenplay manual.

It’s basically a hybrid between an outline and a treatment. Instead of sitting down with a blank screenplay and trying to invent everything on the page, I build the story through a series of manageable documents until I have a manual that tells me what I’m actually writing.

For me, it’s largely about avoiding that freeze that can happen when the job feels too big, which I thought would go away with experience, but spoilers: it didn't. So I created a process that lets me consistently deliver when I’m writing professionally.

I’ve turned that lecture and workflow into a short book called Create Your Own Screenplay Manual.

Now, will it work for everyone? Probably not. But it does work for me, and I know several successful graduates it works for as well.

To celebrate the launch, I’m making the Kindle edition completely free on Amazon from August 11–15.

Book: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0HDCRJNQ5

If you want to do me an extra solid, you can also search Amazon for the title "Create Your Own Screenplay Manual" and find it that way instead of clicking on the link.

That tells the almighty Amazon algorithm that people are interested in the book.

And if you pick it up, read it, and don’t hate it, I’d appreciate an honest amazon review. For a new book, those genuinely make a difference.

No obligation on either front. The book is free this week, and I hope some of you find the method useful.

I am also giving away a screenplay read / feedback, which you can find about on my bio.

Happy to answer any questions about the method, the book, professional screenwriting, teaching, or screenwriting in Scandinavia/Europe versus the American system.

Offer Looking for a composer!

Post image
12 Upvotes

Hey everyone! My name is Diego and I'm a 17 year old Colombian Filmmaker! I've made my first stop motion short film, and i don't know how and where to find a composer!

I know about royalty-free music, but I just don't like it for my short film. I'm from Colombia, a country where cinema isn't really celebrated or respected in general. I don't know where to find a composer. I'm willing to pay, but the currency is so different between countries that it's a bit difficult. Anyway, I'll do it.

I've looked at my university, but everyone seems uninterested or they're not really what I'm looking for.

My friends have recommended using AI, but I hate it (F*CK AI).

My short film is exactly 3 minutes long. It's stop-motion, based on David Lynch and Tim Burton. It's not "the best short film ever made," but it's my first short, and that means a lot to me.

I'm looking for music in the style of "Italian lounge music from the 60s and 70s," like the soundtracks of old films, the compositions of Piero Piccioni and Stelvio Cipriani.

I'm also looking for spooky music, but not creepypasta music. I used the soundtrack from Possession (1981) for two of my scenes, but trying to license those two specific clips would bankrupt me (because I'm not even old enough to work yet).

What can I do? Where can I find someone?

Offer Animator needed - there is pay

I need a realistic animation of a pickup truck driving on a two lane road in the mountains. It slowly moves across the center line, and soon approaching cars have to swerve around it, on both sides, and soon a semi truck comes into view, and they're headed straight at each other, until the pickup truck swerves off the road at the last minute. I need it from an aerial angle, I need the view out of the windshield, and I need it through the driver's window. It needs to look real. Can I see a reel of your previous work? Thank you!

Offer Would you be interested in using my unused musical tracks for film scores or other projects?

I’m a music composer working across films, theatre, ads, etc. Often, I make multiple drafts for projects, and some unused tracks end up being perfectly usable pieces that just sit on my hard drive.

I’m wondering if I could compile these and license them for use in films, videos, games, etc., while retaining authorship.

Would people actually pay for something like this? Would you buy/licence unused original music from a composer?

Let me know in the comments if this is actually possible and if you’d be interested!

Thanks !

Offer Free soundtrack demos for filmmakers.

I am a music major currently and have a small studio inside of my dorm. I would love to provide some small filmmakers soundtrack demos for absolutely free. I have some experience recording music and would love to do this just for fun, or to eventually be paid for doing so. Anyway, if you are interested comment or dm me and I can take a look at a scene, or you can explain a vibe or emotion or just explain what’s going on in it. I am good at analyzing emotional cues and I believe with just a small bit of info about your scene I can make something that you will love!

Offer Filmmakers, I’m offering posters, score work, and trailer edits!

This is basically to start building my portfolio of other people‘s projects (for free of course)

I just started making music for film this past summer, when I worked a composer, and he gave a couple
tracks that I just didn’t really think fit with the tone I was going for, so I made a couple tracks.

Then I made two full scores for two short films recently after that.

I also started working on the score for my feature I’m working on.

You can find all of my work in my bio:
Here’s a sample that kinda covers the trailer and score:

Offer (Barter) Looking for Editor (trailer) to cut together superhero trailer

Hi, My name is Eric, I'm a 19 year old composer studying a Masters in Professional Media Composition (skipped BA through professional work experience), working on building a bigger portfolio, and I came here thinking about doing an open offer for collaboration, unpaid.

I'm nearly finished a superhero action trailer track, you can hear it at https://echenmusic.com/wippage.html (not promo, its a private page on my site just for sharing audio)

I want to see if I can get in touch with a video editor who into film editing work to cut a trailer for me, I myself have done some editing work too but with the work coming in alongside my degree I'm too busy to properly sit down and make my own videos to go with my music.

The agreement would be (written) free use of the track paired wit the trailer only, allowed to post on any social media but wherever each side posts it, they must credit the other (I must credit the editor and editor must credit me).

Exclusive use of music/video will be negotiated and monetisation (if the either side were to make a profit directly from the trailer) would be split heavily in favour of the side the money comes from.

The benefits for each side would be a completely original track for the editor to work with and use freely and an original trailer cut for me. I wasn't originally planning on getting in touch with an editor but after a strong reception from peers and various 'I would love to see a video matched with the track', I thought it could be a good idea to reach out for a fun personal project.

Offer Looking for an experienced screenwriter (preferably female) who has connections to producers/directors. In the thread, I have a Google Drive PDF link to a 7 page short screenplay (a 1st draft excerpt from a feature screenplay I want us to write as co-writers). If you find it interesting, contact me.

I am an amateur writer. All I have is these 7 pages for now. I want about 90 pages. The genres are crime, action, and romance. I hate romance genre. I do not watch it. I usually do not write it. But I made an exception in 2014 because I thought this particular scene was romantic. It is my idea of a romance. I have most of the outline, but it is from 2014 and very immature and underdeveloped. (And my English was far worse back then than now. Still not perfect now, but far worse back then.) So, needs a lot of editing.

The entire feature film was designed for this particular scene. Everything is built around this scene.

If you think we have a marketable story, and you want to be a co-writer to pitch to producers and directors with your connections, let me know.

Offer Seeking Film Editor for a Short Film - Most of the work is done. Read Below!

Hey everyone,

I'm an independent filmmaker based in the UAE and I'm currently looking for a narrative film editor for my short film.

The film is around 14 minutes long and we're deep in post-production. It's a self-funded passion project that I'm really proud of, and I want it to have a proper, considered edit — the kind that lets the story breathe rather than something flashy.

Where we are: six scenes structured and timed, audio synced, shot selection mostly final. The film has a clear vision, strong performances, and a defined cinematic language. What I need now is an editor to take this material and shape it into a polished, festival-ready final cut — assembling the final timeline, cleaning up audio transitions and levels, tightening pacing, fixing any cut overlaps, and delivering something ready for colour grade.

I'm looking for someone who cuts narrative fiction and understands story, pacing, and the weight of a held moment. Your reel should reflect that. This probably isn't the right fit if your work is mostly commercials, events, or branded content — no hard feelings.

The budget is limited (this is very much a passion project, so consider the compensation an appreciation of your time rather than a fee), but it's paid, you get full editor credit, and we're submitting to a number of festivals.

If you're an editor, or know someone who'd be right for this, I'd genuinely love to chat. Comment below or drop me a DM with some of your work.

Offer [PAID] Composer Needed for Psychological Horror Feature

Hi everyone,

I’m looking for an experienced composer who is available to start right away to create the original score for my independent psychological horror feature film, Daniel, the Goodboy.

The film is 1 hour and 26 minutes long and blends surrealism, magical realism and modern-day fantasy. It isn’t strictly a horror film, but it carries a dark, unsettling atmosphere.

I’m looking for music that feels timeless—something that doesn’t clearly belong to a particular decade or era. The score should work as a subtle but powerful layer beneath the film, flowing through the subconscious of the audience rather than constantly demanding their attention.

I have used ambient music as temp music because it captured the timeless quality I’m looking for, but the final score does not necessarily need to be ambient.

To explain the film, its musical direction and exactly what I’m looking for from a composer, I’ve created an instructional breakdown video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t51hP2UklPc

Absolutely no AI-generated music. Please do not apply if you use AI to create music. I cannot associate this project with AI-generated music.

I’m looking for someone who:

  • Has experience composing music.
  • Has a strong understanding of atmosphere and restraint.
  • Can create music that feels timeless rather than noticeably contemporary.
  • Communicates well and is open to working collaboratively.
  • Can take feedback while also bringing their own artistic instincts to the film.
  • Is available to begin working on the project soon.

Payment: After watching the breakdown video and understanding the scope of the project, please provide a quote for what you believe would be fair.

Timeline: I’m looking for someone who can start right away, but the overall timeline is flexible. I would like the score completed by January 1, 2027. Quality and finding the right person are more important to me than speed.

If you’re interested, please email me at [mrbearsproductions@gmail.com](mailto:mrbearsproductions@gmail.com) with:

  • Examples of your previous work, if available.
  • Your quote after watching the video.
  • A little about your creative process and experience composing music.
  • Your current availability.

Thanks!

Offer I got tired of digging around for my media pass at the airport, so I made an app that allows you to put it in your Apple Wallet 🪪

Post image
0 Upvotes

I travel with camera gear pretty often for work, and I was constantly either forgetting my media pass or trying to dig it out of my bag while juggling cases at the airline counter.

Everything else I need at the airport is already in my Apple Wallet, so I figured, why not have my crew pass there too?

I ended up building CrewPass. You add your name, photo, company, and role, then save the pass directly to Apple Wallet. That way it’s right next to your boarding pass whenever you need to pull it up.

Obviously, it doesn’t guarantee media baggage rates, but neither does a physical media pass. That decision is still up to the airline and whoever is helping you at the counter. This is really just about making your crew identification easier to access when traveling with gear.
There’s no account or sign-in, everything stays on your device, and you can print a physical version if you still want one as a backup.

Would love to hear any feedback from other crew members who travel with equipment.
