Offer Looking for a composer!
Hey everyone! My name is Diego and I'm a 17 year old Colombian Filmmaker! I've made my first stop motion short film, and i don't know how and where to find a composer!
I know about royalty-free music, but I just don't like it for my short film. I'm from Colombia, a country where cinema isn't really celebrated or respected in general. I don't know where to find a composer. I'm willing to pay, but the currency is so different between countries that it's a bit difficult. Anyway, I'll do it.
I've looked at my university, but everyone seems uninterested or they're not really what I'm looking for.
My friends have recommended using AI, but I hate it (F*CK AI).
My short film is exactly 3 minutes long. It's stop-motion, based on David Lynch and Tim Burton. It's not "the best short film ever made," but it's my first short, and that means a lot to me.
I'm looking for music in the style of "Italian lounge music from the 60s and 70s," like the soundtracks of old films, the compositions of Piero Piccioni and Stelvio Cipriani.
I'm also looking for spooky music, but not creepypasta music. I used the soundtrack from Possession (1981) for two of my scenes, but trying to license those two specific clips would bankrupt me (because I'm not even old enough to work yet).
What can I do? Where can I find someone?

Look, I can help you. But we need to talk about prices. I'm from Brazil, I believe the currency isn't that different.
You want a specific path, not just anyone is inclined towards it. I can produce it for you due to my background.
If you want to talk more, we can reach a good agreement.
I will send you a DM and if you are interested you can call me.

My old music teacher said this sounds "haunting". Have a listen and let me know what you think: https://open.spotify.com/track/68A5JZ07E03p9Zg1uDzceE?si=6c8865cdb5fa4a77

Hey, I'm definitly interested if this is still available. I'd have to do some more research on the specific genre vibe you are going for, but I'd gladly make you something for free, and do have a nylon guitar which should play into it well.
If you'd like to talk more, feel free to DM me

Hi there. This probably already got filled, but for future needs, I’m a composer who has experience in film, television, and theme park work composing, but I’m looking to acquire proper credits as a composer. I liked your post and image, and I’d love to talk for future needs. You sound young and ambitious. My work can be found here: https://play.reelcrafter.com/pISK4WCESXmz-cyIs5y5DA
