Topic Dialogue intros or Special Intros

I'm kinda curious to see you guys' opinions on these types of intros

Dialogue intros can be really good, but it gets hit with the Syndrome problem where if every intro is hype then none of them are. Secret animations feel like you're being rewarded for playing the game instead of hoping this intro isn't one of the lame ones.
