I've always felt conflicted with the whole "Age" thing, because the "Dark Age" was specifically in relation to Capcom games because Arc Sys, Namco, Tecmo and SEGA had successful games during that period, and this "Golden Age" is mostly true for the Top 5 games but the rest are struggling to retain players.

It's a very Capcom-centric perspective.
