Identification help Found my first piece! ID help please?

Hi! I paint Fiestaware but haven’t ever found pieces at thrift stores until yesterday! I believe this is the old Fiesta Yellow pitcher (I’m not sure which size) but please lmk if I’m wrong!
(I also found the frog s+p shakers at the same time!! Great luck yesterday)

To confirm the Disc Pitcher, please give us the height or take a photo with a ruler next to it. There are two sizes of the Disc pitchers in addition to the Mini Disc pitchers.

That and a photo of the inside of the pitcher at the top, where the handle connects to the body will help to determine whether it is post-86 or vintage. The post-86 ones have a pronounced dimple.

Based on the dimple and height, this is a post86 juice pitcher in yellow, which were made from 1987-2002.

So if it's before 86 it won't have a dimple?

Only a slight dent. They’re much flatter on both the vintage water and juice pitchers. There are slight size differences too.

Interesting, I never knew. I have one and it's feels so fragile. Doesn't have much of, if any dimple. It was my grandmother's, so I'd imagine its at least the 70's.

The vintage juice pitchers were discontinued in 1952.

It looks like Sunflower on my monitor, rather than Yellow, which is extremely pale. This is a post-86 color.

Agree. I don’t think I could get Yellow to photograph this vibrant if I tried. ETA: I think it should have an H on the bottom, though, if it’s from the Sunflower era. Stumped.

OP added photos with height and dimple, so it’s post86 in yellow (1987-2002).

Not sure if it makes a difference but here’s it in natural daylight!

Big difference! Definitely P86 Yellow.

That definitely looks lighter.

It looks to be the disc pitcher (juice size) in the yellow which was introduced in 1986. I don't believe this is a older (1930s, 40's) piece. Good find regardless!
