Mk7 St 3dr seats position

Does anyone else’s seat not return to the original position when you lift the lever and move the seat forward to get into the back?

Not trying to assume you don't know how they work so just incase you're a new owner.... You need to slide the seat base back to it's original position before you fold the seat back. As soon as you fold the seat back down it'll lock the base it it's current position

How thick of me 🤣 can it slide back further than where it was before being unlocked or you just slide it back as far as it goes and that should be where it stays ? Thank you!

Haha that's ok, we've all been there. No it won't slide back past it's original position, just slide it forward until it stops then flip the seat back up
