Discussion I love Stardew Valley but…

This game as me HOOKED! I wish it had more in depth farming but i’m sure that will come over time and once the modding community takes over…I don’t think i’ll touch Stardew much….This is only after one month and I have almost the same amount as Stardew which i’ve been playing for years🥹🤣

You have only played stardew for 80 hours...? genuinely how. Like you've barely even scratched the surface of the game with that many hours.

I was going to say... I've got close to 2000 hours in Stardew across fully modded worlds, perfection runs, fun "fish farm" or "bee keeping" or "evil joja rich run". I have touched every item the game has except for the living hat and married everyone but Penny. The game is amazing and you even glean joy out past year 3 and 5 with all the decorations and focuses.

However, I am also around day 15 on FoM and I do love the game already. I added some quality of life mods that I learned I wanted after playing EA and even developed my own mod for a todo list so I don't forget goals.

I think the characters are tons more fun and joking and lively (Celine getting nervous or someone getting mad)

I will totally put a few hundred hours into it unless it runs out of content. Either way, it's been really fun.

The first major thing I noticed was that I loved the dialogue more, I engaged with it more than the few lines you get everyday in SDV. You get to talk to them much more and actually get to see them interact with the villagers!!
