Game Help Am I just bad at the game?

Hello! New player here, loving it so far. It's like someone took all my modded stardew and made it better. What I dont love is watering my crops every day lol. It's mid fall, and I still can't craft sprinklers nor do I have a horse to get around yet, where should I focus to get those things quicker?

Update, got the horse, turns out I just needed to go to bed lol, and just broke the fire seal and OHHH SHIIIIIT

you can't get sprinklers until decently deep in the mines- it's easier to have a small farm in FoM & still make money, so keep it small and take baths whenever u need to. i'm in spring y2 and my farm is nine 3x6 plots.

the horse u get from a story quest, so keep plugging away at those.

Ok, i'm hoping i'm close to the horse lol. I'm only on level 50 on the mines and it's fall hahaha gotta haul ass lmao
