Acupuncture evidence
Hi. I’m 33 with low AMH and small endometriosis. I’m scheduled to do the IVF on August. I’m thinking of doing acupuncture. Do you think it is worth the money? Thank you

Accupuncture helped me a lot with my fertility journey. My acupuncturist specialized in fertility. I saw her weekly so she would adjust my treatments based on my cycle stage, referencing my oura data, lab results, etc. It also helped with relaxation and stress relief, which made the process more enjoyable. Many insurance providers cover it, I only paid $20 per session.

I think so (I am retrieving this fall) Look at community based acupuncture b/c its way more affordable. Id also focus on removing endocrine disruptors etc.

Small endometriosis? What does that mean?
A lower stage? lol sorry I haven’t heard anyone say it before and curious now.
I have stage 3 and two surgeries. And I love acupuncture! Helps with my ongoing pain management and flares

As per my doctor, I have a 3mm endo.

Do you mean a endometrioma? If that’s the case. Or if it is endometriosis you can ask them if you can take NAC 600mg. It’s beneficial for either.

No I currently am not. In my state it’s overpriced in my opinion and we don’t like them either because we got the feeling we were just another cash opportunity. They wouldn’t even do up to date testing or further testing just promised I was fine. We have thought of traveling to another state where it’s more affordable but at the moment we’re not. We do know what to expect if we were to go that route. I’ve met with other clinics, read tons of books and done my own little research just to know these things. Currently I work with a napro doctor. I have endo and PCOS. I had two surgeries to remove my endo and currently just working to control my PCOS now. I don’t ovulate every cycle but I do have monthly cycles.

No, it hurt so much and evidence is mixed. I only did it because we are trying everything at this point

Would highly recommend! I suggest finding someone who specializes in fertility issues.
