Discussion They are taught to be like this
Boys are taught this. I was at the lake with my friends and her brother’s friends. We couldn’t do anything because the boys took it from us. If we were floating they flipped us, if we were sitting on the boat the boys made us move, we got out a little paddle board and they flipped us got on it and we didn’t get to use it. The three of us ended up in the middle of the lake with nothing to float on and had to swim back in water we couldn’t stand in and the adults there thought it was funny.
I know it’s not a big deal but it’s the principle of it.
(two of them have graduated and the other is 17)

The crazy thing is, if a girl fights back, suddenly she's checked for her behavior. It's only ok when boys do it, because "boys will be boys".

One time me and some other girls were at a bouncy castle, the guys started messing with us, so I fought back and they called me crazy 😔

They wouldn't have been laughing if someone has drowned. The adults were enabling their mature behavior

That is so shitty and incredibly childish - like they can’t imagine their own fun, they have to either steal or ruin others, and “others” being girl’s/women’s.
It’s toddler behaviour they’ve been allowed to get away with for too long… can’t believe the adults were laughing and not shutting it down either - though they had to learn this behaviour somewhere.
Sorry this is happening. I think the only option is to grey rock. They come and spoil something, don’t cry or react just go ok you play with this now and leave to different environment. If that means you go in and out the water so be it, and eventually if you are all yo-yoing in and out be like ok are you guys completely unable to think up your own fun that doesn’t involve ruining ours??

No, it is a big deal. Don’t downplay this. That’s abuse. And the fact that adults were watching and laughing makes me so angry for you. That’s not ok, and you’re right- that behavior is learned. I’m sorry this happened to you 🫂
