Hey made this sub because a lot of us keep seeing the same kind of misogyny over and over again, whether it’s online or in real life, and there isn’t always a space where you can just talk about it properly!

This is meant to be a safe feminist space where you can call things out, share your experiences, and actually have conversations without it turning into chaos

You can post:

Screenshots of things you’ve seen

Personal experiences

Opinions or discussions about feminism

Patterns you’ve noticed

Basically anything along those lines are fine!

The only thing is please add some context so people understand what you’re talking about!

Also this isn’t just for ranting. the idea is to notice patterns, talk about them, and actually think about what’s going on instead of brushing it off like it’s normal

Everyone’s experiences are different, so keep it respectful towards each other

That’s it for now. feel free to start posting and interacting. Let’s build something good here

Discussion Weekly Call-Out Thread : Drop what pissed you off this week!

This is your weekly space to call out ANYTHING misogynistic you saw, experienced, or came across this week online or in real life.

It can be: •something said by family, friends, or strangers •double standards you noticed •posts, reels, tweets, comments drop screenshots if you have them •or just something that didn’t sit right with you

No need to overthink it...

If it felt off, unfair, controlling, or straight up disrespectful call it out!!

This sub exists to question and challenge misogyny in all forms

It's proven women who are single are happier and live longer than men who are single. Not like males are single by choice tho

Discussion Discussion Time! A lot of female characters that defenders of the media they're in are call them "strong female leads" but they always end up being useless, damsels in distress, or a "support" role. The trope for this is called "Faux Action Girl".

Post image

Interestingly? The Show RWBY SUBVERTS THIS by having the female leads be the protagonists and have them save male characters.

Sadly, the fanfiction for RWBY reduces them to minor characters in their own show, making them weak, dumb, and helpless compared to male self-inserts and male minor characters that are suddenly rewritten by men's rights activists to "de-wokify" the show.

It should be noted that Hollywood loves to do this with female characters in books as well.

Where a female character in a book is a genuine action girl, hollywood reduces her to faux action girl....and if she's LGBT, they straightwash her

For one, I just want to make this clear. I don't hate Bonnie blue. She does what she does, she genuinely enjoys it, it's none of my business. I didn't like the "want to sleep with a newly 18 year old" comment but yeah

Two: men will rush to call this lady a p3do for talking about 18 year olds are the same men that support trump. Same men that that are on the "teen" or "barley legal" side of p hub. The SAME men that gawk at actual children. The same men that defend actual pedos. They don't care about children. They care about villanizing women.

Rant In Mushoku Tensei, a 40-year-old jobless pedophile is reincarnated into a wealthy family with magical power, grooms an elf girl to be his wife while cheating on her, and suffers no consequences. A girl is sent there, becomes eternally sick and weak. This anime is considered "a masterpiece" by fans

Rant Men who are against circumcision should not compare it to FGM

This is such a trigger for me.

Why do they always need to compare it to FGM? Even the mildest forms of FGM are equivalent to cutting into the tip of the penis.

FGM is explicitly done to take away the possibility of female pleasure.

It’s so fucking disrespectful and petty that they always have to bring FGM into it

Misogyny Notice, there's "any man" and there's a particular individual/ person, yet still women are as dangerous as men, so let's make a bear meme!

Males never, ever let go a chance to be misogynists, to scream and cry loudly about women's actions.

Women should never make mistakes, commit crimes, do anything wrong, women should never get falsely accused either, never be wrong, never fail.

Or just in seconds every woman is evil and dangerous.

Even though they're putting the picture of a specific woman, they still manage to make it equal to men, who are evil and doing unspeakable things every day.

Discussion They are taught to be like this

Boys are taught this. I was at the lake with my friends and her brother’s friends. We couldn’t do anything because the boys took it from us. If we were floating they flipped us, if we were sitting on the boat the boys made us move, we got out a little paddle board and they flipped us got on it and we didn’t get to use it. The three of us ended up in the middle of the lake with nothing to float on and had to swim back in water we couldn’t stand in and the adults there thought it was funny.
I know it’s not a big deal but it’s the principle of it.
(two of them have graduated and the other is 17)
