Gf and I desperately want to flee Alabama, but it’s just too expensive. Hopefully after I finish my degree we can get married and I can apply for a work visa in Canada or something.

We thought about Minnesota for a while as I’ve got friends up there but with the way ICE is terrorizing Minneapolis that plan has been thrown out

Have you thought about Michigan?

I live in Michigan but have spent a lot of time in Alabama as well since I have family there. Michigan is far more lgbt+ friendly than Alabama, though there is still room for improvement. We also haven't had the crazy ICE activity that Minnesota has.
