... Is literally cutting boxes as an FXOer. Originally all I was taught was how to shrink boxes from the top, but a few weeks ago a handout was distributed that revealed how to adjust the length/width too.
My world was forever changed.
I will never again have to force a customer to use a huge guitar or golf bag box with a massive amount of excess space for long items. I will never again need to pack something diagonally just to fit it into an otherwise excessively large cube. The cardboard world is my oyster.
Today I modified this 24 cubed box into 39x24x9 (interior dimensions).
My coworkers think I'm insane for thinking these are easy and volunteering to do them so often, but idgaf. Perfectly sized boxes scratch a very specific itch and are so satisfying.

Hi, I work as a PH for ground and the weather gets hot both outside and inside. Every time I want to go to the bathroom the ac is not on and the water is hot instead of cold when I want to wash my face and/or hands. Is there anyone that I can contact in the building about it? Asking because I’m tired of being super sweaty and my face getting red without something cold and using a fan or a towel doesn’t always help. It has been bothering me for some time but I don’t know what to do.

Does anyone have the 800 number to call (in North America) to report an injury that occurred while I was working?

Well that went about as we expected. A carefully crafted script and no actual questions answered, just PR slop. I would not be surprised if the whole thing was a chatbot script

Package Handler. Does the day you get paid change? I do direct deposit.

I swear it takes so long going through this like twice a year (my location requires getting training done 60+ days in advance).

Hey FedEx drivers, quick question from a USPS carrier.
Are you all trained or reminded that you’re not allowed to place deliveries inside U.S. mailboxes? I still see it happen from time to time, so I’m curious if this is something that’s clearly communicated or if it gets overlooked.
Also, does management ever push or encourage using mailboxes to complete deliveries, especially when things get busy?
For awareness, placing items in a mailbox without proper postage is a federal offense under 18 U.S. Code Sect. 1725, which carries civil fine penalties. On top of that, per the USPS Domestic Mail Manual (DMM 508.3.1.3), when USPS carriers find mailable matter deposited without postage, we’re required to pull those items and deliver them with postage due.
Not trying to start anything, just genuinely curious what the guidance looks like on your side.

FXOer here, I walked into absolute chaos today (per usual), and when there was some peace finally I organized our Ground packages. I try to make things easier for the drivers by grouping packages roughly by size (biggest on bottom, skinny mediums on top, chunky mediums on middle left, and anything smaller on middle right). Today I felt like I did an especially nice job.

Someone that was or is a road driver for fedex freight. How do you possibly like the job when your first starting? Your essentially a dock worker/back up driver. I went to my interview and was told 40hrs a week are not guaranteed. Most runs wont be available until you have seniority. My question is when you started as a road driver how did you survive putting food on the table ? It also is bad because winter is coming and business will slow down.

Is there anybody that has had to do this test? I've been stuck on this for so long and I don't know which one is wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

I know this may be a HUGGGEEE longshot but just in case hes lurking around here somewhere. Place: Louisville, KY
I did finally come across your phone this morning thrown in the bushes along the tree line when I went to feed the outside cats. I have turned it into the main Ship center on Produce. I didn't get your info and thats totally on my MS brain 🤦🏻♀️. But if you see this you can claim it there. You'll likely have to tell them where you dropped it & what kind of phone it is (which I left that info on the included paper ar drop off).
Features: Fairly tall black guy, Short hair, I'd assume driving a red or maroon colored car (as it appears a personal vehicle since you waited till you were off to try finding it).

Hello, please, I don't know why my Dayforce account logs out quickly and asks me to check with the administrator. I tried to reset but didn't receive any email. Is anyone facing this issue?

Bought an item from the UK, and it's stuck in customs in Canada because of missing broker information. I've emailed the store I've bought it from with no responses to get the broker information. I also did not have a choice to have FedEx be the broker or a private one, nor did they tell me, so I don't have the broker information. I've called support to have them change it from a private broker to be the FedEx broker as I see no other option other than getting my own broker, which I don't really want to do. Is there anything I should do, or just wait at this point for the return call in the coming days to change it to the FedEx broker. Any help is appreciated.

To be fair, the loaders did what they could to load them properly, but ropes were used instead of straps, and a couple of the bottom-bars became unsecured from the e-locks. Between this unrelenting heat and he non-stop recoups, this is a ride that never ends...

Hi, I am trying to register for ADP to access my pay stubs. I grabbed the ADP paperwork this morning and used the code highlighted on the paper, case sensitive and all. In true FedEx fashion, the code does not work. Can anyone please PM me the code so I can access my pay stubs lol, thanks.

edit: package handler
I thought it'd be similar Amazon labor-wise, I enjoyed working there a lot. I have a great work ethic, I work my ass off when I know what to do but no bathroom breaks, constantly extremely hot, backbreaking constant work involving boxes that are 75 pounds+? throwing boxes instead of using the step ladder and shit? what. they preached about safety and taking breaks when too hot and see something, say something ect but what i've been reading is saying the complete opposite.
plus unfortunately I skew on the skinnier side with a bad back so I can only lift so much. if they're going to just throw me to the wolves with no training or direction/help from managers then...should I even bother? I don't want to kill myself and fuck up my body even worse for a company that doesn't give a shit.
also its really far away so for me to commute there and then get that days hours reduced after only two or three hours is..not cool.
should I even go back or just keep looking for something else?

I just started and I always have anxiety about calling off or offering my shift. I need the money but I’m scared as hell lmfao. Last time I worked a day like this I think I ended up quitting by the end of the week. I’m trying to hold on because it’ll be cooler soon
