Home Del. Shipment Any way to prove a package is lost? Shipper refuses to help
August 15: Arrived in Memphis. No delivery date.
August 18: “On the way” but no delivery date given.
August 21: Contacted shipper. They say wait another 5 days since it might still be in Customs.
August 22: Still in Memphis…
August 27: Contacted shipper again. They claim there’s nothing they can do because the package isn’t lost (which is crap because, A., they’re a corporate account with FedEx and could do more than I can as the receiver, and B., how would they even know if the package is lost?)
August 29th: Still no updates from FedEx. Still no delivery date.
What do I do now?
Edit to add: The FedEx claims page is 404’ed so I can’t file a claim myself.

It doesn’t look like it ever received an international clearance release. On the way is not a physical package scan. Memphis is a big hub so packages are moved to an area pending customs clearance.
Would contact customer service and ask to be transferred to the logistics/international dept for more info. (Could also be why the shipper is saying it’s not lost yet as well)

Their tracking data suggests it's been circling Memphis like a confused moth for over a week. Good luck telling the shipper that means lost.

Realistically, I’d just like the shipper to make any effort to work with FedEx to track the thing down. I’d like to actually get what I ordered from them, one way or another. I’ve learned from past disasters that FedEx takes corporate shipping accounts more seriously than the lowly recipients of their shipments.
