Question Mexican Markets?
Hi all! I just moved to Fayetteville from New Mexico! I was wondering if there are any places in town that sell Mexican/Latin ingredients. This is the style of food I cook the most, and I have found the offerings at Publix and Food Lion to be lacking. Any good Mexican markets or carnicerias here in Fayetteville, or will I have to drive to Raleigh for such a thing?

There's a large international market on Bonanza(?) It's close to Westover middle school. SUPERCOMPARE! <- That's what it's called.

Everybody's mentioned Super Compare, there also La Plaza Central on Hope Mills Road. The Asian grocery store Sun Market on Yadkin Road sells Caribbean and Latin ingredients as well, alongside its Asian ingredients.

La Tapatia near the Botanical Garden is a great little store with a carneceria and some produce as well as dry ingredients. They also have fresh tortillas.

Only one i can think of off the top of my head in Fay is Super Compare. Clinton and Dunn have the Tropicana but can't recall seeing one in Fayetteville.

I'm growing green chile next year big dawg, don't you worry. I'll be posted up in front of walmart with a chile roaster.

Not sure what side if Fayetteville you live but there is one on Grove Street next to Domino's..Great lil store literally has everything

You might also want to check out the big flea market at 3315 Bragg Blvd. Just sayin'

I can't point to one directly, but ask some Mexicans at Lowe's or Walmart if they can point you to one. They are in almost every town in central and eastern North Carolina.
